AVAILABILITY & RESERVATION

1. Send a request regarding the dates of your intended stay (the web calendar is usually current). Use either the web form from this page or email directly to florencedesignapartment@gmail.com.  Inquires are obligation free, so don’t hesitate to ask questions about the apartment or other aspects relating to your trip.
2. All inquiries are replied to promptly (within a few hours, maximum)
3. If you wish to make a reservation, you will receive a confirmation of your dates and information about how to pay the deposit. Bookings made more than 45 days in advance of the start of your stay require 50% of the total rental. The balance is due 45 days prior to check in.
4. For booking made less than 45 days from the start of your stay, payment for the full rental is due at the time of the booking.
5. Guests may pay by bank transfer (US, Canadian or Australian dollars or Euros) or by credit card. Credit card payments are made in Australian dollars to the secure portal of Westpac Bank in Australia. Payment may be made by Mastercard, Visa or Union Pay.
6. A fully refundable security deposit of $300 USD is due no later than 14 days before check-in.
7. Receipts will be provided for all payments made. Guests will receive an Apartment & Neighbourhood Guide as well as information about arriving in Florence, dining out, exploring the city and using the local transit system etc.

Terms & Cancellation policy

TERMS & CANCELLATION POLICY

The following terms and conditions show our commitments to each other and form your contract with us.
1. Florence Design Apartment permits you to occupy and to use the contents of the Apartment for the period shown in your confirmation invoice and email.
2. The number of people sleeping in the apartment must not exceed two.
3. You agree not to smoke or allow visitors to smoke inside the apartment, nor to allow pets in the apartment.
4. You may cancel your stay without penalty up to 21 days before your check-in date.
5. In the event of cancellation 21 to 0 days prior to the check-in date, 30% of the total accommodation cost is non-refundable. Please note that refunds to credit cards will be at the exchange rate which prevails at the time of the refund (not at the time of booking). If booked by bank transfer, refunds will be in the currency in which you paid.
6. Check-in time is 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. of the first day of the booking. Check-out is by 12:00 p.m. of the last day. We are flexible about this, providing there is sufficient time to clean and prepare the apartment for arriving guests. Please contact us in advance if you have special requests.
7. If you do not check-in on the arranged day and do not contact us by 6:00 p.m of the following day the booking will be considered cancelled. In this case, 50% of the total accommodation cost is non-refundable.
8. Guests are encouraged to take out travel insurance to cover contingencies such as cancellation. In the event that you decide not to take out Travel Insurance you agree to indemnify us against any charges that might otherwise be covered by your insurance. You further agree that we are not responsible for any costs of cancellation by you.
9. The security deposit is fully refundable. The purpose of the deposit is to cover any damage to property, lost keys, and/or phone usage to make mobile or international calls. It will be refunded as soon as possible, generally within 5 days.
